Women's Ministries at FBC provide women the opportunity to 1) Grow in Christ; 2) Evangelize and serve our world; and 3) Love one another. We desire to help each woman find her place in this local body known as Faith Bible Church. We hope you'll picture yourself in one or more of these opportunities for fellowship and service.

We generally host a Women's Conference in January or February, and occasionally offer other events through the year. Each of these events provides fellowship with other believers and teaching from God's Word. Women meet regularly throughout the school year in Bible study groups. We also provide opportunity for women to serve the Lord through care ministries, one-on-one discipleship, church-wide events, and Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) ministry. MOPS

The FBC chapter of MOPS is a ministry to nurture mothers of preschoolers (infants to 6 years old). MOPS exists to nurture these mothers by meeting their distinct needs. The isolation of the mother with preschool children is a real and documented phenomenon. MOPS provides a caring support group to identify with these women in a Christ-centered manner. Each meeting includes a time to talk and get to know other women, instruction in relating to children, womanhood, home and relationships, and other topics from a biblical perspective. Childcare is provided during this time by the Moppets ministry (see info below). The main MOPS meeting at Faith Bible Church takes place the second Tuesday of each month from 9:15 to 11:30. . Moppets: With our goal of focusing on mothers during each meeting, it's important to have loving care for the children who attend the MOPS program with their parents. That's where the Moppets come in. We're always looking for volunteers to staff this critical program. If you are available on the second Tuesday morning of each month for two-and-a-half hours, and you'd like to help us in the MOPS ministry, please contact us!

WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDIES

All women are invited and encouraged to participate in Women’s Bible studies. Childcare is provided on Wednesday mornings for a moderate fee. There is a charge for Bible study materials. Opportunities for study include the following: The Precept Upon Precept inductive Bible study is offered at FBC on Wednesday mornings 9:30-11:30 am. Katrina Lewis is teaching Spiritual Gifts January through March 2010. The Women of Faith Bible Study, also meeting on Wednesday mornings at FBC, is taught by Kathy Harl. Their topic of study from January through March 2010 is Praying the Psalms. A Precept study on the book of I Samuel will be taught by Bertie Seebohm at 6:30 pm each Thursday beginning January 28. Katrina Lewis teaches Spiritual Gifts January through March 2010 on Thursday evenings at 7 pm, January through March 2010. For more information about Bible studies email women@fbccincy.org.
