A. Wayne Lowe, Senior Pastor

Born and raised in Bermuda, Wayne met his future wife, Barb, at Philadelphia College of the Bible. They were married in 1978 and have five children: Stephen, Tim, Heather (Chris), Jonathan, and Meghan. As a family they enjoy sporting activities, games and reading.

Wayne graduated from PCB in 1979 with a B.Sc. in Bible and Christian education. He completed his Master of Divinity degree at Grace Theological Seminary in 1983.

Wayne served as pastor/teacher and Christian school administrator at Albion (NJ) Bible Church from 1982 to 1987; Calvary Bible Church, East Stroudsburg, PA, from 1988 to 1990; the Evangelical Church of Bermuda from 1990 to 1991; and Faith Evangelical Bible Church (NC) from 1991 to 1998. The Lowes moved to Cincinnati in August 1998 after Wayne was called to serve as senior pastor at FBC.

One of Wayne's special interests is teaching Bible and theology classes here at FBC. He has additional experience teaching and lecturing at the Asian Christian Academy in Bangalore, India, and teaching at PCB's New Jersey campus.

Marv Lucas, Associate Pastor for Worship and Christian Education

Marv served in pastoral ministry at churches in Illinois and Michigan before coming to Faith Bible Church in August 1999. He studied at Moody Bible Institute, Trinity College (Deerfield, IL), and Northern Illinois University and has a Master of Music in music education.

He has taught at Asian Christian Academy in Bangalore, India. In 1996, 1997 and 1998 he also served as music director and Bible teacher at the Western High Plains scholarship camp for Awana youth clubs.

Marv was born in Owosso, Michigan. He met his wife, Lola, a native of Minnesota, at MBI. The Lucases have three children: Jessica (Randy), Ben (Jenni) and Seth. Marv's personal interests include bicycling, fishing, woodworking, and reading. He also enjoys composing and arranging music for the church.

Rick Bush, Associate Pastor of Administration

Rick was born and raised in Akron, Ohio, and attended Bowling Green (OH) State University. There he met Melissa, and they were married in January 1993.

Rick and Melissa served for 13 years on the staff of Student Venture, the high school outreach of Campus Crusade for Christ. Most recently, Rick was the Cincinnati Metro Director for Student Venture until joining the pastoral staff of FBC in August 2006.

Rick and Melissa have two children, and as a family they enjoy swimming, bike rides, and the zoo. Rick enjoys golf, running, and naps on Sunday afternoons.

David Hildebrand, Associate Pastor of Shepherding and Family Care

Dave's pastoral background includes experience in shepherding, discipling and counseling families and individuals. He has a Master of Divinity degree from The Master's College and Seminary. He is also certified in counseling by the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors.

Dave and his wife, Cynthia, have three sons: Andy, Aaron (Amy) and Adam (Jenn). They also have two grandchildren. His hobbies include carpentry, hiking, and birding.

Dave served as pastor-teacher of a church in West Chester, OH, from 2004 to 2009. He also served as a missionary with Friends of Israel from 1992-1999. Prior to that he was a career firefighter and paramedic.

Peter Starkey, Assistant Pastor of Student Ministries

Born and raised in Columbus, Peter met his wife, Kim, at Asbury College. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2007 and was admitted to the Ohio Bar in November 2007.

Peter served as volunteer youth sponsor for several years at FBC and became youth intern in 2008. While serving as youth intern, Peter says that "the Lord very quickly ignited a passion for youth ministry." He accepted the call to become assistant pastor of students in 2009.

Associate Pastor Kirt Conroy

Faith Bible Fellowship, Lebanon, Ohio

Kirt served as a volunteer youth leader and as a full-time youth pastor ministering in churches in North and South Carolina, and as Director of NavYouth Colorado Springs, prior to joining Faith Bible Church in January 2000. At FBC, he has served as pastor of students, pastor of family care, and now as pastor of Faith Bible Fellowship (a church planting venture in the Lebanon, Ohio, area). He is a graduate of the University of Kansas, has a Masters degree in Christian Education from Columbia International University and served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps.

Kirt was born and raised in Colorado, where he met his wife Lynn while serving together with The Navigators. They have four children and enjoy family outings, bicycling, and board games.
